Board of Directors
Superstition Search & Rescue is a not-for-profit organization governed by a 6-member Board, with several additional leadership positions. A Constitution and associated By-Laws dictate all rules and regulations that apply to the group and the group's activities. Board members are nominated and elected by the entire team on an annual basis, and make decisions regarding training, logistics, finances and team equipment. Team Leader of SAR, Training Officer and Quartermaster (Wilderness and Urban) are nominated and elected on an annual basis by the entire team. Team Leaders are nominated and elected on an annual basis by the members of their respective teams. Team Leaders manage and regularly schedule training for their teams.
